In 2020, a small group of caring individuals had a vision: to establish a private source of support for cancer care and education, so that essential psychosocial efforts could be sustained into the future. This founding family—each of whom fought cancer or seen someone close do so —joined with experts to create what today is BeFriend Cancer. Many of our original founders were concerned about an alarming rise in cancer over the previous decade. With this growing global burden, prevention of cancer is one of the most significant public health challenges of the 21st century. Cancer is the second leading cause of death globally, and is responsible for an estimated 9.6 million deaths in 2018. Globally, about 1 in 6 deaths is due to cancer. BeFriend Cancer is a nonprofit coterie that looks forward to bring cancer patients and cancer warriors together on one single platform. Millions of people around the world diagnosed with cancer lack a concrete support from from anyone and undergo medical treatments without empathy. We’re here to change that.
Neither the advanced healthcare technologies nor clinicians alone can end the stigma of cancer. Millions of people around the world diagnosed with cancer lack a concrete support from someone who went through the same and undergo medical treatments without empathy. We’re here to change that. Our vision is a world with hope and empathy for cancer patients.

Know More...It is often considered a life sentence, and despite increased awareness and state-of-the-art treatment, cancer is still a stigmatized condition. Survivors or ‘conquerors’, though, say a diagnosis of cancer does not have to drastically change your life. If detected early and treatment followed, life can go back to nearly normal. ‘Not Beyond Us’, this is the survivors’ message: that cancer can be beaten successfully and a good life can follow.
